National Park Honeymoon

Especially for the couple who loves the out of doors, going to a National Park for your honeymoon is a great idea. If you want, camp, but otherwise stay in a nice hotel or lodge nearby. During the day there will be limitless sites to see and places to explore. Then in the evenings and nights, staying in a hotel or lodge will provide all the comforts of home.

Road Trip

What a better way to have some time alone and have fun than taking a road trip. Road trips can be looked at in two ways. First, you have a destination in mind where you would like to spend some time, but you would like to have some fun along the way. Second, picking a road and just stopping whenever you see something interesting. There is a time limit, but a destination is not so crucial. The trip is the destination.

Road trip ideas:

• HWY 93 will take you Border to Border, going North and South. This highway goes through Montana, Idaho, Nevada and Arizona.
  
• US-50 will take you Border to Border, going East and West. This road goes through California, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia and Virginia.
  
• Coastal East Coast road will take you from New Jersey down to Florida (or visa versa).
  Take HWY 1 along the western coast. There is plenty to see all along the way.
  
• US-20 follows the Oregon Trail. Following this road will take you through Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts.
  
• Route 66 (some of the road is in ill-repair or is basically nonexistent now) will take you through California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Illinois.
